My article ‘Gwyn ap Nudd and the Transition to the Next World’ has been published on the Gods & Radicals website HERE.
‘Gwyn might be seen as a god who not only guides the dead to the Otherworld but also oversees the passage of the living through trauma and madness to the healing art of the awenydd.’

Link isn’t working for me…
???
Went to the website and read your piece! The clear earnestness in tone really jolts the reader into a state of attention. A peal of alarm bells in words.
Tangentially, if you don’t mind me asking, why do you say your manuscript was unpublishable?
Also, because the question just struck me, what are your thoughts on Gwythyr? Is there any material on him, or any possible parallel characters in Welsh?
Take care!
Apologies – I’ve fixed that.
As far as I know Gwythyr only appears in ‘Culhwch ac Olwen’ and his father, Greidol, is mentioned in ‘The Dream of Rhonabwy’ and a couple of the triads. I’ve written on Gwythyr here – https://lornasmithers.wordpress.com/2020/07/16/gwythyr-ap-greidol-an-ancient-british-god-of-fire-sun-summer-and-seed/ He shares parallels with Hafgan (‘Haf’ is welsh or Summer ‘Summer’) against whom Arawn fights a ritual battle in the First Branch of the Mabinogi.
