Wow, this is very interesting to me. I have used the pseudo name Ywen DragonEye for 20+ years and am also a devotee of Gwyn ap Nudd. Can you expand on the connection between Ywen and Annwn? I know it is Welsh for yew, but is this your reference or is there a character in the lore named Ywen that I am not aware of? Thank you.

Yews have got a longstanding association with the underworld and the dead thus I believe they’re connected with Annwn. Is there a character? That’s an interesting idea. When I’ve reached out to the spirit of this particular tree (which is male) he’s mainly appeared shadowy and treelike, but also as a hooded figure and also as an archer. Whether this is because I’ve had the yew bow connection in my mind I’m not sure. I’ve also experienced the presence of similar figures at the Glastonbury yews.
